Trusses and Frames are the parts of civil and mechanical structure which provide strength and rigidity to any structure.
A truss is a structure composed of different members like rods, bars etc. arranged to form one or more triangles. The members of truss are joined by pin joint which do not transmit moments. But on the other hand, Frame is a structure that consists of arbitrarily oriented members like beam which are connected rigidly or by pin joint at joints.
This is a very important topic of Engineering mechanics, which is helpful in design and construction field.
This course is beneficial for mechanical and civil engineering students for curriculum exams and competitive exams like GATE, ESE, SSCJE, RRBJE etc.
