Course Description :
In Physics, Scalars are those physical quantities which can be described with the help of Magnitude only such as distance, speed, energy etc. while Vectors are those physical quantities which require both magnitude as well as direction for their Description such as displacement, velocity, force, torque etc.
In this Course we will study difference between Scalars and Vectors, types of Vectors, resolution of a given vector, finding unit vector along the direction of a given vector, Projection of one vector on another vector, Vector Addition and Vector Multiplication.
In Vector Addition we will study two laws of Vector Addition
1. Triangle Law of Vector Addition
2. Parallelogram Law of Vector Addition
In Vector Multiplication we will study two types of Vector Product
1. Scalar or Dot Product
2. Vector or Cross Product
