Course Description : 

The unit plant physiology is a major unit of the botany section considering the NEET Examination, Olympiads and other various entrance examinations.

The whole unit covers various aspects of plants metabolic process that occur inside them and help them to sustain the growth. It includes Transport in plants, Mineral nutrition, Photosynthesis in Higher plants, Respiration in plants and Plant growth and development. The whole unit tries to cover as much possible metabolic processes as much they can be covered. The course “Plant Physiology” is specifically created to master the plant metabolic processes in an effective way.

To facilitate easy learning, the course has been divided into 5 modules each pertaining to one chapter as mentioned in class 11th NCERT biology book. Each module comprises of detailed discussion of chapter’s theory part along with pictorial depiction to facilitate easy grasping by the students. Additionally, after each module theory discussion, an interactive session related to previous year questions upto 5 years is also included so that students enrolled in this course can apply what they have learned in theory part. This way the course plant physiology enables students to learn the course in an holistic manner.

About Instructor

I am Rupesh Kumar. I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Life sciences from University of Delhi and currently enrolled in the master’s programme in botany from Uttarakhand Open University. I have been in this field of guiding students for NEET examination along with students of 12th, 11th and 10th for more than 2 years. My interest lies in researching to innovate new methods to deliver the topics to students which can be memorised by them for long term and my core strength lies in delivering lecture which are practically oriented as students grasp more easily when explained using a practical example which they can easily relate to. Keeping the things simple, crisp, and to the point comprises my main teaching methodology.
