Course Description :
This course mathematical modelling of a control system deals with mathematical representation of control system by using differential equations and algebraic equations. In this course we will learn how to represent a mechanical system, electrical system and analogous system mathematically and set of guidelines to determine transfer function of mechanical systems. We will learn the four types of analogies and how to obtain electrical analogous of mechanical systems using free body diagram and by using nodal diagram method. And finally we will solve some problems to implement the concept of mathematical modelling of a control system.
